GU Medical Arts and Humanities Society exists to promote the use of the arts and humanities in healthcare education. Our biggest event of the semester is coming up this Monday which will provide a platform for discussion and reflection on death, dying and end of life care. Using sources from the arts and literature, our guests from a wide range of backgrounds (including an anthropologist with a specialist interest in palliative care, palliative medicine doctors, a GP, a hospice nurse, artists, and a hospice chaplain) will reflect on their experiences and thoughts of death and dying. All are welcome to what is sure to be a thought-provoking event. Please see the Facebook event for more details and feel free to get in touch with the society with any questions! https://www.facebook.com/events/767403293620963/?ti=icl
