‘Sharing Reflections: Scottish Outsider Art and Art Extraordinary’, CCA Glasgow, 4th December 2015

As part of the British Academy funded project, ‘A Tapestry of Tales: Investigating the Historical Geographies of Art Therapy and ‘Art Extraordinary’ in Scotland’ an event entitled ‘Sharing Reflections: Scottish Outsider Art and Art Extraordinary’ is being hosted at the CCA on Friday 4th December (see programme below) at the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) in Glasgow. This will be an opportunity to hear presentations, personal stories and watch film footage relating to outsider art in the Scottish context and to join in a host of discussions surrounding the place of outsider art and their histories in contemporary culture.

The event is free of charge to attend but places are limited so please email Cheryl Mcgeachan as soon as possible if you would like to attend (before Friday 27th November). Travel bursaries are available to support postgrads/early career scholars/people on a low income so do advise if you would be interested in applying for one in your email.
